Chiefs Confirm Domestic Violence Claims Connected to Wide Receiver Rashee Rice
The NFL franchise issued a statement on Wednesday evening stating they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations made public in online accounts by a ex-partner of wide receiver the athlete and had been in communication with the league office.
The team omitted the name of the player specifically in their announcement and said they would have “no further comment at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name Rice by name, shared a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. Jones stated the individual in question was the father of her children, and it is known she has two children with the football player, whom the team drafted in the second round.

No official complaints were available in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have occurred.
Rice's Prior Off-Field Troubles
