The loved ones of teens missing after a devastating inferno at a bar in a Swiss ski resort are enduring an painful wait for answers and appealing for clues about their loved ones via social media.

The inferno engulfed the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of south-west Switzerland, in the small hours of January 1st. Confirmed video show the ceiling being engulfed in flames as beverages with fireworks are held aloft.

Authorities have stated that it could take considerable time to identify the victims of the disaster, which claimed the lives of numerous partygoers and wounded another 119. Officials noted on Friday that the majority of the injured have been accounted for, with work ongoing to name the final individuals.

In the interim, relatives have been using social media to plead for any news about their friends who were at the bar that fateful night.

Desperate Searches for the Unaccounted For

The fate of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are still unconfirmed, according to an appeal from his family.

His father, told media that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around the new year. An official spokesperson has indicated that a formal confirmation of his death is still pending.

Other Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is also among the missing. His parent told reporters that he had been on vacation but had gone out with friends and ended up at the venue.

"A close friend told me they fled after the fire erupted and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a specific moment he lost sight of him," she explained, adding he had been wearing a identifiable piece of jewelry.

One of his educators stated, "I've always been struck by his good nature and smile, combined with great responsibility. Often offer to help out."

Alice Kallergis, who holds dual Swiss and Greek nationality but lives permanently in the country, was also present on New Year's Eve, according to media.

Her brother has published an urgent request on social media, saying the relatives has had "no news" regarding the 15-year-old or the group she was with, who are also unaccounted for.

Consular authorities from her other nation say they are continuing to monitor the case.
