Two individuals are now facing charges following a suitcase robbery where a substance thought to be pepper spray led to people being hurt at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and charges for deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their suitcases taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A young child was caught up in the incident during the incident. Several persons required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – described by police as was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – led to train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
